This article is for all the teacher and coaches out there teaching kids. I have been teaching kids for more then 12 years and I love it! I can't think of any other thing else, I would want to do. My mission in life, is to introduce tennis and touch every kid that I teach. Also to help them find themselves and become all that they can be. How about you? Do you have a passion for teaching kids? Does it show when you are teaching them? We as teachers and coaches,are the most important people in the education system, because we are shaping the future, so we need to make sure, that we don't let any kids get left behind. Its obvious that this the case right now, going on across the world. Back to you, give your heart to your kids and let them know that you believe in them. Always encourage them to do their best and if they don't succeed, just have them try again, until they do. This should help them to develop a strong willpower, which is one of our goals we should have as teachers. Combine this with having a positive attitude and you will be giving these kids a head start to a successful career. Lets focus on getting the job done and making sure we are leading by example, the kids learn better by seeing, then hearing, so lets lead. What will happen to is the kids will turn into leader by imitating us. I call that a win win situation, for all of us. Its all about your passion, SHOW IT,LIVE IT, BE IT. The problem now is that i don't see a lot of teacher teaching kids with passion, so as a result they are turning out a lot of passionless kids. I put the blame on the people doing the hire, they need to hold the teacher accountable and provide more training for them. Also to the teachers if the power that be, don't give you the resources you need go get them yourself. Take charge of your teaching career for the kids.
