As SPL considers wiping Rangers’ titles, ex-Celt says he’d take no glory in retrospective awards

THERE are some who believe that once the SPL has conducted its investigation into undisclosed payments to Rangers players, the repatriation of league medals will have to follow. If it is deemed that the Ibrox club irregularly registered players through their employee benefit trust (EBT) years of 2001-10, all results achieved in that period must face being erased.

Such a scenario would put Gary Caldwell in line to receive SPL winners’ medals in the post from seasons 2008-9 and 2009-10. It would give him a complete set of championship badges from his time at Celtic, whom he played for from the summer of 2006 until leaving for Wigan in January 2010. The prospect, however, holds absolutely zero appeal for the 29-year-old.

“It is getting pretty messy for Rangers,” says the captain of the club currently at the foot of the Barclays Premier League. “One day after another new things seem to be coming out. I am sure they will get to the bottom of it. But every league medal I won with Celtic, I had to earn it, work for it. I worked harder and played better than others for those, and the ones I didn’t win others worked harder and played better. A medal dropping through my letter box wouldn’t mean anything to me. Not at all would I want that.”

The Scotland internationalist has only good wishes for the club he was required to enjoy an adversarial relationship with while playing in Glasgow and whose administration ills have been “big news in England”. “I think it is a fact that a club of that size has found itself in that scale of turmoil,” he says. “It isn’t a good situation for football, or the Scottish game. Whatever team you support you want to win, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have regard for those in the scene you compete against. I hope it all gets sorted out because without Rangers, Scottish football would lose a great deal of its wider appeal. The rivalry with Celtic brings so much of the global spectacle to our game.”

Not that he considers Rangers’ difficulties would in any way diminish what Neil Lennon’s champions-elect have the chance to see through. Their Scottish Cup quarter-final at Tannadice today represents the last game outside of Glasgow in which they require to avoid defeat in the pursuit of only a second treble in 43 years. “Celtic put a run together to pile on the pressure on Rangers before their financial situation began to bite, and that shouldn’t be forgotten. I was there for three years and we had a really good team but we never got close to a treble. If they do it this year it will be a fantastic achievement that shouldn’t be qualified.”

It is a very different football existence Caldwell is now living out at Wigan. It is not so much the winning but the losing just a little less than three other teams in your set-up that counts. Going into their trip to Norwich this afternoon, Roberto Martinez’s men haven’t been able to do that. With one win, two draws, and one defeat in their past four games, they at least aren’t being beaten at the alarming rate they were late last year. But they haven’t managed back-to-back wins in the entire campaign, and Caldwell declares that is a must to avoid being one of the three teams from the five separated by two points who loses their place in the monied market of the English top flight. It is not like winning titles at Celtic.

“That was more enjoyable, this is far more pressure,” he says. “You may have been nowhere if you were second in Glasgow but failure didn’t have the same ramifications. If we don’t achieve our aim it will be disastrous for the club. Our hope is that we were in the same position and came through last year by playing our football, so we know from experience we can do it. We just have to put a run together.”

Captain Caldwell is no different from straight centre-back Caldwell, the player says. “Whether I have the armband or not I’ll cajole and encourage team-mates.” But skippering a multi-cultural side at the JJB Stadium is different from when he undertook those duties at Celtic or Hibernian. “In those dressing rooms, it was mainly Scottish players. Our mentality is to fight, give our all every training session and every game. Down here I have had to adapt my approach for different people because other nationalities have their own ways.”

There is a Scottish strain at Wigan, with Caldwell frequently sharing pitch-time with fellow natives James McArthur and James McCarthy. Not so his old Celtic team-mate Shaun Maloney. The winger has all but disappeared from view since his move to Wigan in August. He has yet to start in the Premier League, and has only made three substitute appearances, his last way back in October. His two outings in the first XI came in cup competition, with Maloney not used since he was one of the guilty men in the FA Cup defeat at Swindon Town in January. Caldwell doesn’t pretend to understand Martinez’s thinking as regards Maloney.

“Shaun is as fit and looking as good as I have ever seen him,” he says. “He turns up to training every single day and gives it his all and is still so hungry. He is just not getting involved at the minute but to be fair to the wee man he is keeping his head up and working so hard. I know there was talk of a loan to Bristol City and that’s because he just wants to play. It is so unfortunate for him because he has had his niggles and injuries in the past but at Wigan hasn’t missed a single session. Football can be funny. You can be out of the picture one week and in the team the next. With his training and work ethic when he gets the chance, he can take it.”

Caldwell is the same age as Maloney. But with almost 450 senior appearances and 47 caps for his country that he was “honoured” to lead last month in Slovenia in the absence of the incapacitated Darren Fletcher – “we missed him and need him back” – his body has allowed him to pack in so much more. Caldwell doesn’t relish the 30th birthday party that awaits him next month.

“I’m not looking forward to it,” he says. “There is a stigma to the age and everyone looks upon it is as you getting on, being past your best. But the sports science means you can look after your body in a way that has allowed the likes of [Paolo] Maldini and [Ryan] Giggs to play some of their best football after 30. The experience you can call upon can make you a better player and I hope I am coming into my prime.” And even if his prime might not add to his medal collection, neither does he want his past to now do so.

n Gary Caldwell is encouraging fans to enter the Barclays Global Fans Survey – a survey by Barclays to find out the views of Barclays Premier League fans around the world. Around the English Premier League ?EUR" Round 27

The Wolves were sent back to relegation with a fulminating 5-0 by Fulham and United put a stop to the Spurs, which makes it their second defeat in a row.
By Camilla Mancini

Manchester United pounded the tough Tottenham Hotspur to win 3 points more, but no matter the efforts the Red Devils make, City also continues beating its rivals to hold on tight to the lead. Therefore the top two leaders are still separated by 2 points only, while the Spurs have been left stuck on 53pts just watching Arsenal approach themselves. It looks like Redknapp's club has entered into an unlucky streak and if they don't managed to stop it now they could be regretting it pretty soon; because it has been the opposite for the Gunners which have won 6 points within the last 2 fixtures and are now just 4 points away from the third spot.

On the other end of the board there are still Wigan and Bolton in the bottom two positions and back in the 18th spot are the Wolves, which could only staid off the relegation zone for a week. The Cottagers were the ones in charge of sinking Wolverhampton with its season's biggest defeat so far, for they knocked it out with a 5-0. This heavy defeat was accomplished between two men: Pavel Pogrebnyak and Clint Dempsey. Pogrebnyak got on the score sheet during the 36' with a headed goal and at 44' brought home a double lead, assisted by Andrew Johnson.

To continue with the humiliating blast the Whites were given to their visitors, just 10 minutes after the return from the interval, Dempsey caught a pass from Danny Murphy and rounding Hennessey shot the ball to the bottom right corner of the goal. Five minutes later Pogrebnyak was scoring his fifth goal since he became a Cottager in January, actually his fifth in three games. Within seven minutes to the end of the challenge, Dempsey finished off the Wolves with the fifth and last goal of the day. This has been the first time that Fulham wins three matches in a row since 2008 and thanks to its lately success is currently standing in the 8th position -the highest position it has reach in the season.

The last match of the 27th round took place at the White Hart Lane, where even though the hosts did a good job controlling the ball, they still weren't able to prevail against Manchester United. In fact, Jermaine Defoe's late goal was pretty much a consolation goal for the Spurs, as United had conquered the triumph almost twenty minutes before. The Red Devils first goal was headed by their top scorer Wayne Rooney, in the last minute of first half, when he reached a corner from Ashley Young. The next two goals were Young's work, which achieved in less than 10 minutes. At the 60th minute a pass from Luis Nani ricocheted in Young's way, allowing him to place the 2-0 with a perfect strike. The midfielder scored then his 4th of the season at the 69', when the opponents' defense backed off and he grabbed the chance from just outside the penalty area with another beautiful strike.

The other matches from round 27: Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal; Wigan 0-2 Swansea; West Brom 1-0 Chelsea; Stoke 1-0 Norwich; QPR 1-1 Everton; Man. City 2-0 Bolton; Blackburn 1-1 Aston Villa; Newcastle 1-1 Sunderland.

Guidelines That Are Integrated In Tennis

No activity in this community can be performed without guidelines because then the overall activity cannot end neither you would realize that what are you actually enjoying. Even in measures movies of Artist we be familiar with a well-known range that, "There is only one concept of farmville, that there is no rule", at least there is a concept even though it says that there is no concept. Rules actually choose that how the game has to be performed and how you can win the overall activity. Every game has its own guidelines, like in baseball there is a concept that the gamers are prohibited to touching the tennis ball with arms otherwise there would be a nasty. In cricket there is a concept that if the tennis ball is balled by the gamer and his base noise the balling range then that tennis ball would be regarded as a 'no ball' and the batsman will get a no cost hit. There are identical guidelines in every game with regards to the game gadgets being used in the overall activity. So, if each game has guidelines then definitely golf also got some guidelines. If we collect all the guidelines of golf then there are around 10 primary guidelines of the overall activity of golf.

The guidelines that are integrated in golf are simple but golf itself is bit complicated. The first concept of golf says that when the tennis ball is being hit by the racquet to the competitor's trial then it has to be performed by the adversary after just one rebound in his trial. The second concept says that while offering the tennis ball the gamer has to create sure that the offer is being done corner trial and his base must be behind the range otherwise the gamer who is offering the tennis ball looses a factor as it causes a 'foot fault'. The third concept that is integrated in golf informs about the overall activity and places that are engaged in golf. It says that a set is made up of 6 game titles and a go with is made up of 3 places so if a set becomes equivalent for both the gamers, which are 6-6, then there, is a tie crack of 1st to 7 factors. It all concept goes something like this, that whenever the tennis ball variations the range of any participant's trial while enjoying then the tennis ball is regarded in the trial. The fifth concept is a concept that is good to the concept of cricket. It says that the tennis ball cannot hit the racquet twice during just one taken. In cricket this concept is known as 'double bat'.

These are very primary guidelines you need to comprehend for comprehension a activity title of golf because golf livescore will depend on the guidelines. Other staying five guidelines of golf are quite clear and understandable that is why they are recognized while looking at the overall activity. All the 10 guidelines of golf that are used in the overall activity are the factors because of which we get to see changes in golf livescore data during stay suits.

Doubles Tennis Strategy: How to Unravel Your Opponents

Knowing your opponents and how to unravel them is a key doubles strategy in tennis. To understand the mental makeup of your doubles opponents is to understand what will likely lead to their demise. With this knowledge you will know what tactics to use that will cause them to mentally unravel on the court.

Dominator - The dominator is the better player who is bossing their partner around. Learn to isolate the weaker player in this case and 'starve' the dominator of as many balls as possible. This will exaggerate the dynamic and cause them to become unbalanced. The weaker player will lose confidence and feel self-conscious and then the dominator will become visibly frustrated. They will try to compensate and begin pressing and trying too hard, causing their level to drop also. Once you sense this happening you can begin hitting a few shots to the dominator... to confirm your suspicions!

Wanderer - This person tends to lose the score, forget whose serve it is, walk to the wrong position on the court, etc. When you see any of these clues begin playing the ball to them, particularly in a non-pressure situation such as two games all,15-15. Hit a return to them at the net - chances are they are not paying attention. If they are really not engaged they will wander for the whole match. However, beware! Occasionally they will 'wake up' when something exciting is happening, like if the score is close or you're nearing the end of the set. Be on guard because these players can play well under pressure, as they are loose and relaxed. Ignorance is bliss!

Socialite - This player is really in it to get out of the house, meet people, exercise, and have a good time. They will try to engage you in chit chat before the match, during the warm-up, and also during the match, particularly at change of ends. Plan for how you would like to deal with this scenario - perhaps reply politely but be very brief. If it persists you could say something to the effect of "I'm really enjoying the game right now - let's chat after the match." Having a plan will prevent you from being distracted or frustrated by their behavior.

The Shark - This player is an experienced competitor. They may not have the prettiest strokes but they are crafty and they know how to get the job done. They will look for any advantage they can get. They will try to break down your mental game. They may verbalize a few injuries they have, they can stall (shoe laces, injuries, bathroom breaks, and numerous ball bounces), they may not return balls to you for your serve or hit it to the other side of the court so you have to walk to get it. They may continually ask you to go and get balls for their serve. They may tell you how well you are playing to try to distract you, and they may also question your calls, ask you to call out the score, or other things of this nature. If you let them under your skin you are done for! Stay calm. Know that they feel threatened by your play and take this as a compliment. If you weren't such a good player they would not need to do this to win. Use your time between points to focus on yourself, keep good eye control, avoid looking at them and just play the ball.

The Negative Nelly - This player is constantly critical of themselves after points. They always have something negative to say and their body language reflects this. Make sure this player sees a lot of balls coming at them - this can break a team apart. If you don't seize the opportunity by hitting to this player you will allow them the time they need to cool off, and once they regain their composure the level of their play will improve also.

The Exploder - The same thing that applies to the Negative Nelly applies for the exploder. While the negative Nelly tends to internalize and implode, the opposite is true of the exploder - they tend to externalize their frustrations! Direct traffic to them when they are making a lot of noise.

The Crumbler - Look for signs that one player is feeling the pressure more than the other. This player usually starts really hot and is not struggling. Then when the match heats up they call "yours!" on big points instead of "mine!", they let shots go uncontested - particularly big serves or middle volleys - they stop coming to the net or stop poaching, they follow their partner around, clinging to them for support. These players have stopped believing in themselves - make sure you hit to them as much as you can, especially on big points!

When you understand the mental makeup of your opponents you understand the vulnerable areas of their mental game. Be observant and you will quickly identify the type of players you are up against, and the obvious strings to pull that will make their game unravel!

How to increase driver distance

Here in this article I am going to go over a few key points that will increase your driving distance without losing any accuracy. These tips will be useful for all levels of golfers.

The first things that you want to do to increase distance with your golf driver is to get the basics right. You want to make sure that your golf ball position is correct. With a driver you want the golf ball to be teed nearly a full balls width above the face of the driver and the golf ball should be placed just inside your left foot.

You will want your stance to be slightly wider than normal and your weight should be behind the ball at least 60%. Your head should be behind the golf ball as well. This is to promote an upward strike because to get maximum distance we need a high launch with low spin.

Ok now that we have the perfect setup for distance we now have to over a couple of swing mechanics to get increased distance. Our aim to get the most distance is to get the clubhead travelling to the ball as fast as possible giving a high launch and low spin. To do this you need to take a long low wide takeaway and a full turn. You want your back to face the target. Now you want to start your downswing with a slight weight transfer and uncoil of the body.

As the club comes down you want to continue to uncoil whilst maintaining as much lag as possible and holding it to the last minute releasing the golf club at impact. Doing this whilst uncoling and keeping your head behind the ball promoting an upward strike will give you much more distance whilst maintaining accuracy with your golf drives. One more pointer that should be added is that you should make sure that your driver is custom fitted as a driver that is not properly fitted will mean a loss of distance and accuracy. To get custom fitted or even check how your current driver is you should visit your nearest fitting centre and Im sure they would let you try your own driver on the monitor to get some data.

I hope that you have found these tips useful for increasing distance. If you would like more tips like this why not visit my golf tips website.

Scott and Dufner share the lead(2)

Scott, who tied for second at last year's Masters and opened here with a 66, made four birdies on the back nine after starting on the 10th, and added an eagle on the par-five first and a birdie on the second.

His only blemish was a bogey on the sixth, just three holes from home, which enabled Dufner, a little-known journeyman until he burst out of obscurity to finish second at the PGA Championship last year, to grab a share of the lead with a birdie on his last hole, the par-three ninth.

"The wind and some very punitive rough made it a very difficult out there today," Scott conceded after having a solid day with his broomstick putter. "So I'm very happy with my titleist scotty cameron buttonback putter in these blustery conditions. You had to keep the ball on the fairways and out of the rough and I managed to do that

"I took advantage of my good play on the first 11 or 12 holes and then managed to kind of get it up-and-down here or there coming in. It was a good way to start."

Scott, playing in only his third event this year after taking a break to have his tonsils removed, said he had been inspired by McIlroy's rise to World No 1 and hoped it would help take him to new levels this year.

"Watching Rory play so nicely the last couple of weeks and just the way he plays Titleist Scotty Cameron Buttonback Putter is inspiring," he said.

"I've had a bit of a break and I need to catch up with these guys.
"You know it's only a month till the Masters and this is the time you want to knuckle down and get involved."

Denmark's Thomas Bjorn and Masters champion Charl Schwartzel of South Africa will also have been happy with their opening rounds. Both are just two shots off the pace on 4-under after shooting 68s.

"When it's this windy,' Bjorn said, "You know you need to play solid Titleist Scotty Cameron Buttonback Putter and keep the big numbers off your card. That's what I did."

Phil Mickelson, hoping to get himself back into the upper echelon on the World Rankings list again this year, finished, as did Woods, at even-par after early bogeys on the 12th and 14th holes and a double-bogey on the par-three fourth, his 13th hole, had set him back, but to his credit, the left-hander did manage to level things with four birdies to finish with a 72.

"It could have been better, could have been worse. I felt like I fought hard to keep myself in a position where if I get it going tomorrow I can get right back in it," said MIckleson, a three-times Masters Champion

Spain's Sergio Garcia's two-over 75 had to take the prize for the most bizarre round of the day.

The Spaniard was five-under at the turn after mixing six birdies with one bogey before coming apart at the seams on the back nine where he posted a birdie, six bogeys and a triple-bogey on the 18th having found the scotty cameron buttonback putter there twice.

Falkirk 1 - 1 Partick Thistle: Decisions, decisions for Willie Collum

WITH Ross County fast disappearing over the horizon in the race for the Division One promotion spot, there was a nagging suspicion that this encounter could turn into an indecently early meaningless game.

There is nothing, though, like a few contentious refereeing decisions to liven up any potentially listless 90 minutes and Willie Collum duly stepped up to the plate with a couple of contested penalty awards for each side and a debatable sending off to get everyone worked up.

In the end a share of the points only further cemented County’s unassailable-looking lead at the top, but Falkirk could at least take some solace from the manner in which they dug in after Kieran Duffie’s dismissal just before the hour mark, whilst Thistle were left ruing an outstanding performance from home goalkeeper Michael McGovern as they pressed hard to secure victory.

Bairns manager Steven Pressley knew full well what the consequences might be if he gave a candid exposition on Mr Collum’s performance so he opted for a measured appraisal. “I’d have to see their penalty again but I thought there was simulation there. As for the red card for Kieran – it’s a type of tackle that’s been debated since the start of the season. It happens at speed. By the letter of the law it might be a sending-off, but we’re taking applying common sense out of the referee’s hands.”

Certainly Pressley was several degrees removed from the raging home supporters who gave Collum a blistering reception as he left the field.

But as the debate carried on as they left the ground it perhaps obscured the fact that both sides had served up the sort of uneven performance that invariably arises when there was such a heavy reliance on youth in both starting XIs.

The visitors had the better of the opening 45 minutes, and they took the lead right on the cusp of half-time when Paul Cairney conjured up a wonderful dipping shot from all of 30 yards that deceived almost everyone by dropping into the net.

A greater sense of purpose on Falkirk’s part and a spate of controversial interventions by Collum spiced up matters after the break. The home side were quickly back on level terms after Aaron Sinclair’s handball in the box led to a penalty which Mark Millar empathically blasted into the net.

There wasn’t much dispute about that one but when the red card was shown to Duffie for a poor but less than malign challenge on Chris Erskine the veins of more than a few Bairns fans were bulging fearfully. Their blood pressure soared even further when Collum awarded Thistle a soft penalty after Cairney tumbled over under Rhys Bennett’s challenge – justice of sorts was done when McGovern palmed away the Partick winger’s spot kick.

The visitors tried hard to make the most of their numerical advantage and McGovern’s status as man of the match and guardian of Falkirk’s unbeaten home record was confirmed by a series of splendid stops to maintain parity.

Scottish cup: Dundee Utd 0-4 Celtic: United prove no match for Celtic

SECOND-half goals from Joe Ledley, Georgios Samaras, Anthony Stokes and Scott Brown eased Celtic past 10-man Dundee United and into the semi-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup.

The home side were on top before defender Robbie Neilson, previously booked for a foul on Samaras, was shown a straight red in the 28th minute for leading with an elbow in an aerial tussle with the Greece striker.

The game turned on that incident and in a one-sided second half the home side were put to the sword.

Ledley, Samaras and Stokes racked up an unbeatable lead before Hoops skipper Brown scored from the spot a minute from time after Samaras had been tripped by Sean Dillon in the United box.

Celtic remain on course for the treble but United will wonder what might have happened had the experienced Neilson not left referee Iain Brines without an option.

Manager Neil Lennon made four changes to his in-form side for the trip to Tayside.

Brown returned from a groin injury with right-back Adam Matthews, midfielder Victor Wanyama and Samaras back in the starting line-up.

Kelvin Wilson and Kris Commons dropped to the bench with Mikael Lustig and Andre Blackman out altogether.

Celtic players wore black armbands as a mark of respect for the late QC Paul McBride, who died last Sunday and who had previously represented the club.

United, unchanged and on the back of three successive wins, started confidently and in the eighth minute skipper Jon Daly got past Hoops stopper Charlie Mulgrew to get on to the end of a Willo Flood cross but headed past the near post from eight yards.

The United striker then had a weak claim for a penalty when he went to ground in the box after a challenge by Parkhead stopper Thomas Rogne but Brines stood firm.

Meanwhile, Lennon had moved the powerful Wanyama from midfield to centre-back, with Mulgrew going to left-back and Joe Ledley stepping up to midfield.

The Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions-in-waiting were working their way slowly into the game but United looked the more dangerous.

In the 25th minute wide-man Gary Mackay-Steven went past Matthews down the left before crossing for Russell, whose first time shot from 12 yards was parried by Celtic keeper Fraser Forster with Daly failing to hit the target with the rebound.

Three minutes later the game took a dramatic twist when Neilson had his moment of madness.

There was little room for complaint from the United camp and Samaras resumed after treatment.

Houston brought on defender Garry Kenneth for Mackay-Steven but immediately Celtic were on the ascendancy and it was the home side who were forced into some desperate defending to keep their goal intact before the break.

The Taysiders started the second half on the back foot with Celtic sensing the first goal could open the floodgates.

Daly ploughed the lone furrow for United but was mostly reduced to a watching brief, although in the 51st he did manage a snap-shot from 20 yards but it left Forster untroubled.

But almost inevitably Celtic forged ahead with the goal coming through Ledley.

The Wales international was involved at the start of the move, and when striker Anthony Stokes went past United defender Dillon and cut the ball back, Ledley pounced from six yards to whip the ball past Tannadice keeper Dusan Pernis at the second attempt.

United were rattled and moments later Kenneth bravely stuck his head in the path of a Samaras drive from the edge of the box which appeared goalbound.

In the 63rd minute, with the visitors in complete control, Stokes tried his luck with a low drive from 20 yards but Pernis gathered with ease.

Five minutes later, in a rare break, United substitute Milos Lacny, on for Gavin Gunning, burst into the Celtic box and had only Forster to beat but failed to connect with his shot and the ball trundled past the post.

Three minutes after that, though, Samaras secured his side’s place in the semi-finals when he rose inside the United box to head in a looping Mulgrew free-kick.

With the Hoops fans still celebrating, Russell flashed a drive from 14 yards high over the bar when he should have hit the target.

In the 79th minute Stokes missed a sitter when he rattled the bar from eight yards after being set up perfectly by James Forrest, but there was time for the Irishman to make amends, latching on to a Ledley pass with four minutes remaining before slipping the ball past Pernis.

A minute from time Samaras won a spot-kick when he was tripped by Dillon inside the box and Brown converted the penalty to rub salt into the wounds of United, who were left bedraggled.

Scottish Cup: Motherwell boss cautious of Aberdeen despite good record

STUART McCall has played down his and Motherwell’s impressive recent record against Aberdeen ahead of today’s William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-final clash at Fir Park.

It is more than three years since the Dons recorded a win over the Steelmen and manager McCall has won all four of his games against the Pittodrie side since he became boss in the final days of 2010, including two in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League this season.

However, the former Rangers and Scotland midfielder knows that any talk of a hoodoo over the men from the Granite City, unbeaten in their last 12 games, could rebound on him. McCall, who will have stand-in skipper Keith Lasley back from suspension, said: “Most people would say it was about time that [run] got broken. Since I’ve been at the club we have managed to get four wins out of four but if you look at the results, they all have been by the odd goal.

“We have had three 2-1 victories and a tight 1-0 here when Bob McHugh came off the bench and scored late on. So the games have always been very close between two evenly-matched sides and come Sunday it will probably be the odd goal that wins it.”

Tom Hateley was also a little nervous when reminded about Motherwell’s good recent record over the Dons. “Those games have been and gone,” said the Fir Park defender. “I don’t think it matters how we have done against them this season or in previous years. It will count for nothing if we don’t get the result. They are on a good run and playing well, defending well and not losing games, which is massively important, so it will be a very hard game.”

Motherwell lost in the final last season to Celtic and McCall wants to be there again. He said: “A lot of the lads had three games there last season, some players go through their career without getting to the old stadium. There is an inner desire to go one better this season.”

Hoping to be standing in McCall and Hateley’s way today will be Aberdeen winger Peter Pawlett, who has declared himself ready to provide the creative spark the Dons need. Craig Brown’s men are unbeaten in 12 matches but their season could hinge on two trips to Fir Park in the space of a week.

Although the Dons are much improved in 2012, they have only won two SPL games during their unbeaten run and the last time they scored two goals in the league was 2 January when Kari Arnason’s late 40-yard strike beat Dundee United.

Pawlett has recently returned from a hamstring injury he suffered early in the fourth-round win over Forfar and he is keen to get the chance to add some creativity to the team. “We are feeling confident,” the Scotland Under-21 international said. “We are getting a lot of draws but we are very difficult to beat with the number of clean sheets we have had. But we will go to Motherwell and go for the win.

“You do watch the team at the minute and feel we are very, very solid and difficult to beat. We need to create a few more chances. We are creating, but we need to score more goals and hopefully I can provide that.”

Pawlett came off the bench in the last two games, draws against St Mirren and Celtic, but has twice played 90 minutes in practice matches. “I’m starting to get back to full fitness and feeling sharp,” he said. I have had a few reserve games. I have played two 90 minutes and I am ready to play if the manager picks me.”

The evolution of Mizuno MP-59 Irons in March

It's Wednesday again, it's rainy in my hometown, and I feel cold in such nice spring. I am not clear about why the climate change so quickly, generally speaking, there will be sunshine in spring, the temperature should be 20 degrees above. On the contrary, it seems that the winter comes back. And tomorrow is the Women's Day, best wishes to the women all around the world firstly. I hope that you can enjoy yourselves.

A ling time ago, women achieved final emancipation, this was a big evolution! This made me think about the golf items from discount golf clubs for sale, we all knows that the Soft fire makes sweet malt; The Mizuno MP-59 irons is an evolution of the successful MP-58 model. The MP-58 irons are also great to hit the ball. However, compared with MP-59, it was pale beside this. In a word, I do not know what you guys think about.

Once upon a time, some players asked a question "Who makes the best irons?" Mizuno would be one of the most frequent answers. The company has developed a strong reputation in the industry and among golfers for making great irons because of its patented Grain Flow Forged process. And if you've ever hit a Mizuno before, you will have d big difference. The lightweight characteristics of the pure titanium allows for the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area to deliver consistent solid feel while simultaneously providing a dramatic increase in perimeter weighting for enhanced playability.

Meanwhile, the Mizuno MP-59 irons are rated for the low to mid handicap golfer, but in my experience, you don't have to be an expert to hit them. I am on the high side of the rating (at 12.8) and I didn't have any trouble striking the ball. I will say, though, if you're accustomed to a wide sole and a large offset with your current set of clubs, you'll have trouble out of the gate with the MP-59s. I subscribe to "The Wedge Guy's philosophy that the golf industry wants you to think you're not good enough to hit a player's club. However, you'd be surprised how quickly your ball striking will improve if you made the jump from a game improvement club to a player's club like the MP-59.

From the Mizuno MP-59 irons, I improve my hitting skills much; it's easy and fast to hit the ball at any time. The silver looks make me feel good, and currently I used the 3-9P setup. It also improved by reducing the offset as a result of this improved stability. Thanks to the help of Mizuno's Tour Staff, the MP-59 iron now features a thinner top-line, a weightier sole and a new sole grind. I think that nobody could resist the temptation of MP-59 when he know well of it. The price at discount golf clubs for sale is $467.99.

Ok, let's call it a day, thanks for reading online about my post; I know that there will be some imperfections, I have to say sorry sincerely, welcome to suggest for me. Finally, happy women's day!!
