2011 Orange Bowl Tickets Guide and Tips

The Sun Life stadium, in Miami, Florida, will be hosting the Orange Bowl on January 4, 2012. The Orange Bowl has been played since 1935, and is tied with the Sugar and Sun Bowl for the second oldest college bowl game. The stadium is also home the Miami Dolphins and was home to the Florida Marlins baseball team until this year. The name of the stadium changed from the Dolphin Stadium to Sun Life Stadium in 2010 after an almost 40 million dollar deal between the Dolphins and Sun Life. For those fans attending the Orange Bowl this year, below is a seating guide to the Sun Life Stadium to help find the best seats in the stadium for the Orange Bowl this year.

The Sun Life Stadium has three levels of seating; the 100 Level, 200 Level, and 400 Level. Each offers a variety of seating options for fans attending games at the stadium.

The 100 Level is the closest level of seating to the field at Sun Life Stadium. These are the most expensive seats in the stadium because of the close proximity to the action on the field. In each section on this level, there are 32 rows, numbered accordingly. For the lower rows in sections 141, 142, 143, 113, 114, or 115, fans will pay the highest prices in the stadium. These sections are the middle-most seats and are closest to the field.

Above the 100 Level at the Sun Life Stadium, there is the 200 Level, a bit farther from the field. This is a small level with just ten rows of seats in each section. On the home team side of the stadium, the middle-most seats are found in sections 241, 242, and 243. On the visitor team side, the middle-most seats are found in sections 213, 214, and 215. The common seating found in these sections are a bit more expensive because of the location.

Just above the 200 level, there is a section of preferred club seating, unavailable to the general public. Common seating continues at the 400 Level, above the club seating. The 400 level is the farthest level from the field. The sections here each have 30 rows of seats each, numbered accordingly. For the middle-most seats at this level, fans will want to consider sections 441, 442, and 443 on the home side, and sections 413, 414, and 415 on the visitor side for the seats most in line with the 50-yard line.
