Enjoying a Tennis Holiday ?EUR" Club Med with a Difference

Some people go abroad for their summer holidays to sit beside the pool and top up their tan.

After having endured months of relentless slog in the often dull and dreary climate of the British Isles such an indulgence is easily forgiven. The feel of the warm sun reflecting upon the clear blue Mediterranean Sea is an experience well worth waiting for, and one that makes the weeks and months of toil in anticipation of this brief but wonderful encounter with how it was all meant to be all worthwhile, and worth the pain of living.

Others though like their vacations to be lively, to offer music, dancing, interaction with other holidaymakers and generally to have a great time. And often the excitement and buzz of an active night life is complimented perfectly by a week or two of sport and adventure by day.

The essence of a luxury holiday is that whether one wishes to relax or to soak up the night life or engage in sporting activities, everything one wishes to do is organised and readily available. The stresses of having to source one's enjoyment by going out and hunting it down are conspicuously absent. Everything you desire to do is there for you under one roof, or arranged by those who have been entrusted with the task of making your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. That is what an all inclusive holiday is all about.

Organisations such as Club Med have flourished over many years by responding to the wishes and the demands of their millions of customers, many of whom return year after year. As the requirements and expectations of holidaymakers have become more sophisticated, so the service on offer has adapted to respond to these demands. For the all inclusive holiday service provider, the art has been to manage the balance between responding to expectations and creating them.

In today's more health conscious age it has become fashionable amongst some resorts to provide gymnasia and other sports amenities for people to use during the day, possibly amongst other things to counteract the negative effects of a week or two of unusually prolific eating and drinking.

One exciting development has been the creation of summer tennis camps, luxury holidays with all the trimmings but with the added attraction of providing tennis workshops for those whose interest it is. Nowadays there is just so much to do for the holidaymaker who wants to enjoy the sun and the thrill and comfort of being away from it all whilst still remaining active.
