If there is ground in dirt and tough mud spots on the casing of the tennis ball serving machine, a diluted solution of water and soap can be used. This may take effort to remove the stubborn stains and dirt; however, it will be worth it when the machine looks fantastic. Once the casing is clean, the larger pieces of grass and debris will need to be removed from the hopper and ball mechanism. It is surprising how much ends up in these areas of the machine during the practice session,
Once the outside has been cleaned, the player will need to turn their attention to the inside of the tennis machines. This cleaning will not need to be performed every time it is used; however, it is advised to open up the machine at least once a week. If the tennis ball serving machine is used an immense amount, it may need to be cleaned inside more often. The player will need to allow plenty of time to clean the inside of the machine correctly.
This is a job which should not be rushed, and care needs to be taken that the tennis ball serving machine is put back together correctly. The user will need to unscrew the base of the machine, and remove it so that the hopper is visible. The wires will need to be gently detached, so that the hopper can be removed with ease. There is always a large amount of ball fluff and dust inside the machine, which needs to be cleaned out.
Care will need to be taken while cleaning the inside of the tennis ball serving machine to ensure that none of the wiring is damaged. Once the inside is thoroughly cleaned the hopper can be replaced and wired back into the machine. The base can be placed back on, and the machine switched on to ensure that it is working correctly
