Born and maturing in Greenwich, South East London, Danny Wallace kick started his professional footballing career with Second Division side Southampton being an associate schoolboy in The month of february 1977. A tiny and compact left winger, Wallace made an instantaneous impact at The Dell and he became the youngest ever Southampton first team player when he proceeded to make his senior debut for The Saints in a outstanding 1-1 draw with Manchester United in Nov 1980 aged only 16 years and 313 days. The generously gifted player definitely made a little bit of football history when he appeared for his beloved Southampton at home to Sheffield Wednesday along with his 2 brothers Ray and Rod on the 22nd of October 1988.
