People are inclined to hesitate between two wanted things often. With regard to the R11 Rescue and 09 Rescue, both are the great works of Taylormade and they share similarities like nice appearance and Flight Control Technology. If asked to tell the diference between them, my answers go just as follows.
First comes with TaylorMade 09 Rescue. This club looks great in the bag, also looks great sitting behind the golf ball at address. Designed with quite a compact club-head intended to give a golfer more control on each shot, the 2009 TaylorMade 09 Rescue introduces the Flight Control Technology (FCT) to utilize a metallic sleeve positioned over the tip of the shaft. The sleeve can be rotated into different positions, changing the characteristics of the head, by loosening the bolt that secures the sleeve and shaft into the clubhead.
The range comes in 4 clubs. A number 2 Rescue at 17 degress of loft, a number 3 at 19 degrees, a number 4 at 22 degrees, and a number 5 at 25 degrees of loft. If you're a lefty, only the 19° and 22° are available. This gives golfers a variety of options if they are not only looking to replace a 2 or 3-iron, but possibly a 4 and 5-iron as well. As for shafts, there are two options. The first is the standard RE*AX Superfast 85 shaft. I was more than happy with the stiff model that came with it. It is a solid nylon cover with a stretchy section along the back that allows the club to fit tightly around the cover.
As for Taylormade R11 Rescue Hybrid, it is the latest and greatest from one of the top names in golf. Also, the Flight Control Technology allows you to adjust the club's face, loft and lie for each shot while the lower center of gravity will produce higher launches. This adjustable hybrid looks just as good as it plays with a 4-degree face angle change, a 2-degree loft change, a 2-degree lie angle change and a 1,000 RPM spin change, meaning perfect shots from anywhere on the course.
It comes with a new deeper face, which produces a more penetrating flight. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse. But this golf club is more suitable for mid-high handicap players.
