Today, Rafael Nadal defeating the great Roger Federer in a 4 sets match went to the final of this Australian Open 2012, which is the 100th edition of this amazing tournament. In the final Rafael Nadal will face Djokovic or Murray.
The match was long, exciting and with some surprising moments. In the first set Roger Federer won by 7:6 in a very close set showing Nadal that he can win. The second set wasn't that close with a pretty easy win for Nadal by 6:2 and with a fireworks break because of the Australian's day, when Nadal was winning 5:2. At the beginning of the third set Federer suddenly got blocked and for some reason couldn't play as well as he played in the first set, doing 3 double service foults in 2 games. When there was 3:2 for Nadal, Federer returned to his first's set play and leveled up to 3:3. At last Nadal won the third set by 7:6 in a surprisingly close set. In the fourth set Federer was winning by 4:3, than Nadal level up to 4:4. After the leveled up 4:4 Nadal won again and had 5:4. While Federer had and advanatage, which would give him a 5:5 result, Nadal won the point with a great lob and a bad mistake by Roger. At last Nadal won by 6:4 in a 3,45 hours match.
