Just because it's going to be cold, don't let that deter you. There is plenty to do in town. You saw all the restaurants that are just around the corner from the stadium, but that's not all, even if you aren't going toSuper Bowl XLVI, there's plenty to do.
Indianapolis is the home of NCAA Hall of Champions, Indiana State Museum, Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians, Indianapolis Museum of Art , The Childrens Museum, and the Indiana War Memorial just to name a few.

It's not like I have never been to Indianapolis and don't know what I'm talking about, I was born, raised, and still live there, so I can tell you there is a lot to do in and around Indy.
Super Bowl XLVI- Indianapolis
If you are driving in, good news, about 90% of the construction around Indianapolis has been completed and the traffic is running pretty smoothly. Since I live here, I had to endure all the construction headaches for you and it wasn't pleasant, but was for the betterment of the city.
If you are flying in to the brand new airport, you will be pleased to know that it has already been voted one of the top airports as far as being on time, the departure and arrival flow through is excellent, and the baggage claim works like a breeze.

The best thing about it is it's only 15 minutes from the stadium and downtown Indianapolis.
There is nothing worse to a city's reputation than to have a frustrating visit to the airport. Whether it is lost baggage, complaints on security, or whatever your worse airport nightmare could be, Indianapolis has excelled in all areas and will continue to do so.
