NFL League Top 3 Quarterbacks

If you look at the biggest superstar quarterbacks from the last decade, you would almost always wind up with two big gunslingers- Tom Brady from the New England Patriots and Peter Manning from the Indianapolis Colts. Tom Brady jerseys are one of the most popular in country, and the man himself is a legend; he married supermodel Gisele Bündchen, after all. However, the last couple of years have also seen one more fairly young quarterback come into the limelight- Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers. While Packers jerseys are popular in their own right (the team has the second-highest fan base in the US), the Aaron Rodgers jersey has become the hottest selling item among fans.

The topmost position goes to Brady, who has had either made or broken so many NFL and Super Bowl records that it seems like his life depended on it. Manning and Rodgers, on the other hand, have faced a lot of pressure in their roles as quarterbacks and have still been able to accomplish a lot. Now, quarterbacks, by their very position, face intense pressure from their opponents and fans as well. However, Rodgers and Brady have faced even more pressure than usual. Aaron Rodgers had to take the place of extremely successful Brett Favre who, by the way, led the Packers for well over a decade. Peyton Manning, on the other hand, plays a lot of different positions even though he is technically a quarterback. Even though Manning has just one MVP award when compared to Brady's three, his recent interception and touchdown numbers are better.

Aaron Rodgers, as mentioned before, is a fairly new player compared to the immensely experienced Brady and Manning. He has not made as many records as the other two till now either, although he is the first ever player in the history of the NFL to have passed the 4000-yard landmark consecutively in two seasons. Looking at the way all three top quarterbacks have played, it is clear that the only thing Aaron Rodgers lacks is time. If you are able to remove the experience away from the equations, Rodgers is in the same league as Brady and Manning. In other words, Rodgers is well on the way to becoming a star quarterback in his own right. He has a higher passer rating in his career than any other quarterback in NFL history with qualified attempts. In fact, his rating is even better than that of Tom Brady. If you look at the current performance of all three quarterbacks, you can see that Aaron Rodgers is better, and this is reflected from his recent winning of the 2011 NFL MVP award.

The question of who is better is still open, because games can change at any moment of time- Joe Montana is a testament to that. However, if you are fans of the Colts, Packers or Patriots, then you know which jerseys you have to get. The Aaron Rodgers jersey is the best statement for a Packers fan, and the same goes for the Tom Brady jerseys for Patriots fans.
