The Green bay Packers are an unstoppable force this season. With a 13-0 record they are having an outstanding season and their quarterback Aaron Rodgers is having one of the best season's by a quarterback ever. Rodgers has thrown 39 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions. That is an incredible feat to reach and there is still three games remaining.
That is only the beginning though, with his 123.3 quarterback rating, he leads the league. Only Drew Brees has a higher completion percentage then Rodgers, but not by much. He is with in the top three categories for basically every stat there is for a quarterback. The Packers offense has been ruthless this year and they continue to dominate the league.
However, some sports analysts say that Rodgers has not even been tested yet this year. In almost every game this year the Packers games have been blow outs. Except for the game against the New York Giants, the Giants battled them for most of the game. Although, Green Bay didn't have to come from behind at the end of the game. They did have to battle to win it though.
With the score tied at 35 points, the Green Bay Packers had to drive down the field with just under one minute remaining in the game. Basically, in two plays the Packers were already approaching field goal range. Rodgers completed a 27 yard pass to wide receiver Jordy Nelson on the second play, so with in 20 seconds Green bay was in field goal range. A few plays later, the Packers were attempting a 31 yard field goal with time expiring to win the game.
In the win, Rodgers actually posted his worst quarterback rating of the season with 106.2 rating. Unbelievable that his worst rating was still over 100, it just proves how great of a season he is having. With the win versus the Giants, the Packers have won 20 consecutive games dating back until last season. That is a remarkable streak to have and remember their defense is horrible, but somehow they find a way to win.
So will the Packers go undefeated? With only three games remaining and the last two are at home. They face off against the Bears and Lions in the last two games. First they play the Raiders in Oakland and that's an easy one for them. The Bears don't have Jay Cutler, so there is another win. The upcoming game against the Lions is a tough one, but the Packers can beat them again. So, yes I do think that the Packers will go undefeated in the regular season. As for the Playoffs, that's another story.
I have been writing for the last ten years, but I haven't gotten serious about it until recently. For the last couple of years I have written a few novels. Now I plan to further my career and make a name for myself in article marketing.
